Missing Link Artistry

Frank Gehry exhibition poster

A poster advertising a fictitious art exhibition celebrating the works of Frank Gehry. The title comes from a quote from Gehry himself: “Liquid architecture: it’s like jazz — you improvise, you work together, you play off each other, you make something, they make something.” The vectorized building at the bottom (and in the background) is the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, one of my favorite Gehry works. His Deconstructivist style is particularly interesting to me as it goes against a lot of conventional rules of design to create fluidity in materials that are often seen and used as rigid — glass, wood (as in his Bentwood furtniture collection), etc.
